For more than 6 years, DLA Piper has been a key pro bono provider to ActionAid International, assisting with issues such as governance, corporate structuring, employment and property advice, as well as providing a full time secondee.

In addition to regular pro bono support as part of our long-standing relationship, we have seconded lawyers to Amnesty International Australia (AIA) over the past few years.

We recently seconded a graduate lawyer to the Arts Law Centre of Australia, in order to support the organization to provide legal advice and information for arts related legal and business issues.
International Service for Human Rights
In Europe, we have provided the International Service for Human Rights with a secondee to support their mission to uphold Human Rights and protect defenders of Human Rights.
As part of a long term relationships we seconded a solicitor to Plan International for six months, to help the organization to develop their internal legal structure and support them with their legal needs.

The Australian Committee for UNICEF
As part of our child justice partnership with UNICEF we have seconded a lawyer to the Australian Committee for UNICEF to support their Advocacy Team's efforts to give a voice to children and put children's rights on the political, legislative and corporate agenda in Australia.
The Australian Human Rights Law Centre
For more than 6 years we have seconded a lawyer to the Human Rights Law Centre (HRLC), Australia’s leading human rights organization.
As part of our pro bono support for the Government of Timor-Leste on matters relating to business, finance, human rights and foreign affairs, we have provided six consecutive full-time secondments.
As part of our child justice partnership with UNICEF, DLA Piper's Georgian office have seconded a legal assistant to help UNICEF Georgia review and analyse Georgian legislation, international standards and best practices, and prepare specific recommendations.
