Cindy Ricketts, Phoenix, Litigation

Cindy has been instrumental in setting up and overseeing the Phoenix office’s pro bono program, while at the same time assisting with developing the Phoenix office’s pro bono relationship with St. Mary’s Food Bank, part of the Feeding America network. Cindy has also worked with the Association of Community Organizations for Reform on New Mexico voting rights issues and has worked on obtaining a favorable verdict from the Arizona Supreme Court in an amicus curiae representation of Americans United for Separation of Church and State in a suit against the Arizona Superintendent of Public Instruction related to using state money for private school education. In addition, Cindy has served as Chair of the Phoenix Father of the Year Council benefiting the American Diabetes Association. While Cindy served as Chair of this event, the Phoenix Father of the Year Council was the top market in the United Sates, raising the most money of any market for the American Diabetes Association.
