Henry Lesser, East Palo Alto, Corporate and Securities


Henry has been involved in pro bono work throughout his career.  He serves as General Counsel for the firm's client, The Global FoodBanking Network, devoted to reducing global hunger by developing food bank networks and expanding the productivity and procurement of food by food bank associations, food banks and community-based organizations.  Henry is also a member of the New Perimeter team that supports the work of the Southern Africa Litigation Centre, a Johannesburg organization dedicated to human rights and the rule of law in nine countries in Southern Africa.  In addition, Henry volunteers with the International Senior Lawyers Project, under whose auspices he taught a pro bono class on contract law to Tanzanian attorneys, in collaboration with The Tanganyika Law Society. When he was based out of Los Angeles, he was a member of the board of directors of Bet Tzedek (The House of Justice). In Silicon Valley, he currently serves on the boards of the Chamber Orchestra of San Francisco and The Volunteer Center of Silicon Valley, Inc.
