Lisa Norton, Northern Virginia, Patent Prosecution

Lisa Norton helped initiate our Northern Virginia office's Signature Project: Pathways to Freedom for Immigrant Victims of Domestic Violence. This project helps abused immigrants secure legal status in the US and freedom to pursue education and employment opportunities. Lisa has assisted with various Violence Against Women Act (VAWA) cases, and also helped coordinate efforts for all VAWA and U-Visa cases in the Northern Virginia office, working with our four partner agencies: Just Neighbors, Inc., Tahirih Justice Center, Ayuda, Inc., and Asian Pacific American Legal Resource Center (APALRC). 

Lisa has also assisted various pro bono clients, such as artists and nonprofit entities, with intellectual property issues.
