Scott currently serves as the primary outside counsel to Linking Education and Economic Development in Sacramento, a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving education and workforce development. He is assists on the life without parole project with Human Rights Watch, which seeks to end the sentencing of juvenile offenders to life without possibility of parole in California. He also represents the Sacramento Film Festival in a trademark dispute.
