Sheldon currently serves as head of New Perimeter, the firm’s nonprofit affiliate dedicated exclusively to international pro bono work. He is co-leader of the Kosovo project and was an active member of the Global Fund team. Sheldon oversees New Perimeter’s other projects and works with the advisory board. He led the Washington, D.C. signature project in special education, and supervised associates in adoption cases as part of that signature project. Sheldon is a pro bono partner for the Washington, D.C. office. In 2006, the Senior Lawyers Division of the American Bar Association honored him with its Pro Bono Award, and in 2003 the District of Columbia Bar named him the Pro Bono Lawyer of the Year.
